Accessibility Statement

KontinuumHQ wants this website to be usable. This statement describes the current state of the site. It is not a certificate, and it is not a claim that an independent audit has been completed.

What we aim to meet

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That is the standard we design and write against. It is not the same as a completed conformance claim.

How this site is built

The pages are written in HTML, styled with CSS, and use a limited amount of JavaScript.

Each page has a language set, a skip link to the main content, and a main landmark. Headings are used to structure the page. The contact form has labels. Links in the header and footer are text links, not image-only controls.

We design for a readable type size, clear contrast between text and background, and a layout that can be enlarged in the browser. The site is intended to work with a keyboard as well as a mouse.

Conformance

We have not commissioned a formal accessibility audit of this website. We are not therefore stating that every page fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA.

We are not aware of a specific barrier at the time of writing. That is not a claim that none exist. If you find one, we would rather you told us than assumed we already know.

If you have difficulty using this site

Use the contact form. Say which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what went wrong. If you use assistive technology, the name and version help, but they are not required.

We will acknowledge the message and tell you what we can do. Where a page can be fixed, we will fix it. Where a genuine limitation remains, we will say so and offer another way to get the same information, where we can.

Enforcement

In the United Kingdom, the Equality Act 2010 requires service providers not to discriminate against disabled people. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may seek advice from the Equality Advisory and Support Service, or from the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
